Dallas, TX - Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo announced he had decided to retire as an active player, and planned to join CBS Sports and Jim Nantz in the announce booth next season, replacing Phil Simms. The Cowboys released Romo. At least one NFL general manager believes the door is still wide open and there is a "100 percent chance" Romo could return to playing if a team showed any interest.  READ MORE
