Anderson Takes No-Hitter into Eighth

MILWAUKEE -- For the second straight May, Chase Anderson and the Miller Park faithful flirted together with history. Anderson lost his bid for a no-hitter on Nick Ahmed's single leading off the eighth and was forced to settle for a 6-1 Brewers win over the D-backs on Saturday at Miller Park. Anderson set a career high with 11 strikeouts in seven scoreless innings and Milwaukee snapped a five-game losing streak, but the 29,746 fans in attendance didn't get to witness history. Juan Nieves' seven-walk, no-hit effort on a dreary night in Baltimore on April 15, 1987 remains the only no-hitter in Brewers history. READ MORE.
