According to a piece by Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, Giannis Antetokounmpo, LeBron James, Chris Paul, Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard, and other stars took part in a conference call on Monday to unify on the decision that the stars should return to the court once the NBA is given the OK to return to play and proper safety measures are put in place.

What kind of significance will this hold? Well, Haynes and others around the league believe that it could pay major dividends: "The group’s decision is expected to hold significant weight in the decision-making process for the rest of the league’s players when it’s time to deliberate on whether to restart the season."

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported earlier today that the National Basketball Players Association has been privately and anonymously polling their players with a simple yes or no question of whether or not players want to return to play. He later said that teams that are in the playoff race want to take the plunge, while those who are outside of the playoff bracket are less inclined.

The NBA has been in hiatus since March 11 when Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert tested positive for the coronavirus just moments before tipoff in a game against the Thunder in Oklahoma City.

Milwaukee Basketball Insider Eric Nehm joines The Wendy's Big Show earlier and spoke of the potential return to action and the likelihood of Giannis returning to Milwaukee in an interview on Tuesday. Listen to the whole thing below:
