LB Khalil Mack to the Bears

Chicago, Il - Oakland Raiders linebacker Khalil Mack is coming to Lambeau Field next Sunday night for the season opener - in a Chicago Bears uniform.

The Bears have reportedly landed the much lauded Mack, who held out of the Raiders training camp for a new contract. Yesterday there were reports the Raiders would in fact trade Mack for two first round picks. 

The Packers are holding two first round picks in the 2019 draft, but apparently were not willing to make Mack a high enough cash offer. 

Mack, 27, is expected to become the highest paid defensive player in the NFL.

The Bears are blessed with plenty of salary cap space, and a young, inexpensive quarterback, Mitch Trubinski. 

What a spectacle this will be when the Packers, and the highest paid player in the league, Aaron Rodgers,  host the Bears and their new linebacker for the season opener next Sunday night at Lambeau Field. . Full Story:
