Giannis Antetokounmpo's youngest brother, Alex, intends to play professional basketball overseas in Europe to prepare for the NBA Draft.

Alex will skip playing college basketball after graduating from Dominican High School.

Alex could become the fourth Antetokounmpo brother to play in the NBA if everything pans out during his preparation in European basketball.  His older brothers Giannis and Thanasis play for the Milwaukee Bucks.  His other brother, Kostas, also plays for the Los Angeles Lakers.

He will be following a current trend of NBA Draft prospects to skip the typical "one-and-done" model in college basketball and preparing for the draft elsewhere.  Top high school players like Jalen Green have recently agreed to deals with the NBA's G League to develop their skills.  This has caused the NCAA to start thinking of a new process that allows them to compensate players for their time in college sports.
