Giannis? Harden? MVP race is far from over

March 25, 2019 - 6:04 pm

The NBA's MVP race is far from over, but it might just be down to two candidates -- Giannis Antetokounmpo and James Harden. Eight games remain for both the Milwaukee Bucks and the Houston Rockets. Of those eight, one is a head-to-head pitting the Greek Freak and The Beard against each other on March 26.

Harden, the reigning MVP, leads the NBA in scoring (36.4 points per game) while Antetokounmpo leads in efficiency (35.2). While Harden's shooting is overwhelmingly dominant, Antetokounmpo's all-around game is second to none this season -- including Harden's. So who gets the MVP nod: the leading scorer, or the well-rounded leader of the NBA's top team? The FAN's insider Matt Velazquez explores the debate at JSOnline.com.

The Wendy's Big Show fielded the debate, too, on Monday afternoon. LISTEN BELOW
