Brice wants back.

Packers safety Kentrell Brice will be a restricted free agent when the NFL's new league year begins. According to Rob Demovsky, he wants to return to the Pack in 2019. However, he's seeking a multi-year deal, and there's no telling the interest is mutual. Brice started 10 games last season and recorded 50 tackles -- sixth most on the team. Read more here.

Safety is considered a position of need for the Packers this offseason, but would bringing back Brice make sense for Green Bay?

He could provide depth given his familiarity with Mike Pettine's defense, but he struggled in coverage throughout the season. It doesn't make sense to offer a multi-year contract to a backup safety of Brice's caliber. However, if he tests the open market and doesn't get what he wants, an on-the-cheap, one-year "prove it" deal could make sense for both parties.
