GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Packers will sign a second man who can get after the quarterback, and this guy also played his home games in Maryland over the past four seasons:

Smith has played the entirety of his NFL career, four seasons, with the Washington Redskins who made him a second-round pick out of Mississippi State in 2015. He has played all 16 games in each of his four pro seasons and started all 16 each of the past three seasons.

The durable edge defender recorded four sacks and 53 tackles with the Redskins last season, and his 16 quarterback hits were more than any Packers player last season. He has 24.5 career sacks, four forced fumbles and four interceptions as well. Read more here.
