PHILADELPHIA -- The Brewers took the best-of-four series over the Phillies with an 11-3 road win Thursday afternoon.

A surprise to no one, the Christian Yelich show at the plate paced the Brewers' offense. He hit two solo home runs, his 17th and 18th of the season, as part of a 3-for-5 day at the dish. Yasmani Grandal (a three-run dinger in the fifth) and Mike Moustakas (a two-run blast in the ninth) joined the reigning NL MVP in the home run column, too.

Ryan Braun contributed an RBI single, as did Zach Davies -- a bunt single that scored Eric Thames. Brewers pitchers can rake, but they can deal on the mound, too.

Zach Davies got the win, improving to 5-0 on the season. He struckout five over six innings, allowing three runs -- just one earned, a solo home run to the former Brewer Jean Segura -- on four hits and three walks. Out of the bullpen, Matt Albers and Adrian Houser kept the Phillies hitless.

Things were didn't go great for all, though. Top prospect Keston Hiura went 0-for-5 with four strikeouts in his third Major-League game. Read more here
