Yelich named NL Player of the Week

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder, and reigning National League MVP, Christian Yelich was named NL Player of the Week for the first week of 2019, Monday. He hit .500 with four home runs and eight RBI, including a walk-off double, in the team's first four games of the season. 

Yelich hit one home run in each of his first four games of the season, tying an MLB record, and is the seventh player in history to accomplish the feat. Seattle Mariners infielder Tim Beckham was named the AL Player of the Week. Read more here.
