Youthful Brewers starting pitcher Freddy Peralta is headed to the 10-day injured list with shoulder soreness in his SC (sternoclavicular) joint. There was speculation that Peralta could be injured after giving up a combined 12 hits and 10 earned runs in his last two starts. He has averaged just 4.3 innings per start this year with a 7.13 ERA in four appearances.

Among the day's moves, the Crew will also reinstate reliever Jeremy Jeffress from the injured list, and option fellow reliever Jake Petricka to Class-A Wisconsin. RHP Aaron Wilkerson will come up to the big leagues from AAA-San Antonio.

Wilkerson, a 29-year-old right hander, has made two starts in San Antonio this season. In 11.1 innings pitched he has only given up five hits and one earned run totaling an opponent batting average of just .135.
