Major League Baseball and the MLB Players Association have agreed to a collection of rule changes that would take place in 2019 and 2020.

Changes for 2019:

-Eliminating the waiver trade deadline; the July 31 non-waiver trade deadline would become the only trade deadline

-Shortened breaks between innings

-Reduced number of mound visits

-All-Star voting to include voting rounds/periods

-Prize money in the Home Run Derby

Changes for 2020:

-Three-batter minimum for pitchers (with some exceptions)

-Increased active roster size

-Elimination of September roster call-ups

-Increased minimum time on the injured list

All 30 MLB clubs must ratify the changes before they can become official. More details on the changes here. The guys on The Wendy's Big Show broke down the changes and gave their thoughts. LISTEN BELOW
