MILWAUKEE -- The Bucks struck deals to bring back three players at the onset of NBA free agency, Sunday. Then, GM Jon Horst went and brought another player back...to the state of Wisconsin.

Matthews, a Marquette alum and graduate of James Madison Memorial High School in Madison, Wisconsin, returns to Milwaukee a decade after signing his first NBA contract with the Utah Jazz after going undrafted in 2009.

In the time since, Matthews has played for four other franchises -- most notably the Portland Trail Blazers and Dallas Mavericks and most recently the Indiana Pacers.

Finding starter (or near starter) minutes in each of his 10 seasons, Matthews brings career averages of 13.7 points, 2.2 assists and 1.1 steals per game to the Bucks’ backcourt and bench. He’s a career .425 shooter from the field and .382 from three-point range.

The news of Matthews' signing broke as The Wendy's Big Show discussed other free-agent news. Catch the guys' in-the-moment reaction below!
