June 23, 2019 - 5:08 pm

The Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Cincinnati Reds 7-5 today as Brandon Woodruff had a masterful performance striking out 12 (a career-high). Reds' starter Anthony DeSclafani struck out the first six Brewers he faced before the Crew unloaded in the third inning scoring 5 runs including a 465ft bomb from Travis Shaw.

Arcia would continue to pile it on in the fifth with an oppo-taco giving Milwaukee a 7-0 lead. The Reds fought back after a three run homer from Votto and a couple of RBI's in the ninth cutting the lead to just two. Jeffress would finish the game though as he got Jose Peraza to pop out to left. The Brew Crew would win it 7-5.
