Green Bay, WI -  Green Bay Packers safety Josh Jones reported to the team's mandatory mini camp, but did not practice due to what was described as a hamstring injury.

Jones, who sources told ESPN last month wanted to be traded out of Green Bay, says he skipped all of the team's OTA sessions due to "family reasons."

The Packers added two safeties in the offseason, the Bears Adrian Amos in free agency, and used a first round pick on Maryland's Darnell Savage Jr.

"OTA's are voluntary," said Jones. "What does the word voluntary mean in the dictionary?"  SEE VIDEO

Packers GM Brian Gutenknust and head coach Matt LaFleur told reporters Jones was being held out due to a hamstring injury.

Gutenkunst said Jones is a talented athlete, but would not commit to whether if Jones will be around this season as a Packer.

"We will do what is best for the team," said Gutenkunst.
