Team has no interest in former Cowboy

Green Bay, WI - Former Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten tried to get a job for his former teammate, wide receiver Dez Bryant.

Witten, now headed to the broadcast booth for ESPN, told Adam Schefter on a podcast "I think he's going to end up going to the Green Bay Packers. I think that's a great spot for him. Aaron Rodgers - he throws that back-shoulder throw so well, and Dez can have great chemistry with a good quarterback that can put the ball wherever he wants."

Shortly after that interview, the Packers informed the NFL Network they have no interest in the 29-year-old Bryant, who so far, has drawn little or no interest from NFL teams following his release from the Cowboys: READ MORE
