Packers waive TE

Green Bay, WI - The Green Bay Packers have a bit of a demographics problem in their tight end meeting room. 

On the one hand they have two savvy veterans, former Saints, Seahawks Jimmy Graham, age 32, and ex-Jaguars Marcedes Lewis, who just turned 35 last month. 

On the other end, they have second year man Robert Tonyan, (or "Bobby T" as offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett likes to call him) age 25, and a raw rookie, Jace Sternberger, drafted in the third round after one season at Texas A&M. 

You'd like to see at least one guy there in the middle, with just a little more NFL experience. 

So over the weekend the Packers signed former Lions tight end Michael Roberts, age 25, 6-foot-5, 265lbs, who has appeared in 23 NFL games over three seasons. 

One problem.
