Atlanta, GA - The New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams took turns Saturday posing for Super Bowl LIII team photos at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The Patriots invited up to 800 family and friends to a pre-game gathering at the stadium, something head coach Bill Belichick has done in his previous trips to the Super Bowl.

In a final meeting, Belichick told his players about the stop, start, stop aspect of the Super Bowl on television, which will have 11 commercials in each half and a 29-minute halftime.

“There’s no momentum to it,” he said. “It’s like going to a traffic light, stop, traffic light, stop—that kind of thing. But that’s the game, so you’ve gotta play it that way."

The Rams spent the morning at their NFC team hotel in Buckhead in final meetings and a ballroom walk-through, then boarded team buses for their photos at the stadium.

Head coach Sean McVay said except for a brief visit with his parents, he's been "laying low" at the team hotel focused on final preparations for Sunday night's game.

The FAN's Mike Clemens has covered both teams all week and has this recap from the DeKalb Peachtree Airport north of Atlanta, where hundreds of private jets have been arriving bringing NFL sponsors and celebrities to attend the game.
