Dallas, TX - The Packers 34 - 24 win over the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium was a homecoming of sorts for Aaron Jones.

The Packers running back grew up in El Paso, Texas, and attended Burges High.

Was he a Cowboys fan?

"Oh, yes sir. I was a Cowboys fan. I mean everybody there was a Cowboys fan, so I have a lot of respect for 'The Star," said Jones at his locker after the game. "But I am so grateful to be playing for a great franchise like the Green Bay Packers."

Jones then played for UTEP, the University of Texas at El Paso, but instead of being drafted by the Cowboys, he was picked by the Packers in the 5th round of the 2017 draft.

On Sunday Jones rushed for 107 yards on 19 carries, and scored 4 touchdowns in a single game, tieing the Packers fanchise record with Hall of Famer Jim Taylor, Terdell Middleton, and Dorsey Levens.

Jones also become just the fourth NFL player since 1950 to post 100-plus rushing yards, 75-plus receiving yards and four rushing TDs in a game as he joined Gale Sayers, Dub Jones and Shaun Alexander as the only players to accomplish that feat, according to the Packers.

The Packers running back spoke to The FAN and reporters about how he ran more inside zone plays against the Cowboys than he did in the past so far this season.
