As my friend Ryan and I walked in reverse to keep the freezing wind from our faces, but the reality that two tacos and a RC Cola for 5 bucks was just a block away kept our souls warm.  Now imagine this…

You walk into UWM Panther Arena and the first thing you are greeted with is a chance to get on the ice and play a new musical chairs competition.  Well this was the fate my friend Ryan was gifted with.  Sadly, I guess my friends are just not as much fun as I thought they were.  Dude turned it down.  I bring the guy to the game, introduce him to the Admirals tacos which will be the best food deal available at a pro sporting event in town, and then he decides he is too nervous to go on the ice in front of people…  Unbelievable!

As my disappointment in my buddy’s decision-making began to be forgotten, I made a second run for a beverage and tacos, and we were greeted with yet another incredible opportunity.  There was a late no show for the Human Hockey Puck.  Now personally, being the Human Hockey Puck is one of the main reasons I wanted to work for the Admirals.  The dream of being slung down the ice goes back many years for me… apparently not for my good friend Ryan.

“Y’all are crazy!  Absolutely not!”

That was the last response I expected to hear…  Am I crazy for thinking I need a new companion for my off nights?

Now that I’ve gotten off the soap box let me tell you about the positives!  Admirals hosted their first Green and Gold Tuesday of the season with rookie Josh Jones and the touchdown king Dean Lowry!  Fans got a very cool opportunity to have a meet and greet with the Green Bay players, but were not treated to a win as San Diego came away with a 5-2 victory in the first of two meetings between the clubs.  Admirals will be in Canada over the weekend taking on the Manitoba Moose on The Fan with Aaron Sims going LIVE at 1:30 both Saturday and Sunday.

Come join us next Friday December 15th, as I will be your game night host for the Admirals Kids 2 Kids Christmas Drive!  Fans are encouraged to bring a new unwrapped toy when entering Panther Arena… and I’ll make sure to have my friend Dean Rosko play more Christmas Carrols like this rendition of Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer!
