On Wednesday, Chuck Freimund and I will embark on Erin Hills, the site of the 2017 U.S. Open Tournament. In it's first ever visit to the state of Wisconsin, this Major is considered to be golf's biggest test. I have yet to see this beast of a golf course in person, but I can almost guarantee that there won't be many scores under par by the end of the Championship. The USGA has a knack for making each venue a headache for the pros. Some spectators hate to see the game's best struggle to make par. As for me, I love it! (More to come in a future blog or podcast!)

In the meantime, I have a confession to make........I've only golfed once since coming back from Arizona in March...

Tomorrow is going to be a nightmare...Bill Michaels believes I will still shoot less than a 127 (Yeah, some pro in U.S. Open qualifying shot that recently. Here's the full story).

Regardless, these are my expectations and goals for Wednesday's round:

- Take lots of pictures and videos of Freems and I to share with all of you!

- Hit at least one fairway.

- Make at least one par.

- Do not lose all of my golf balls.

- Enjoy and appreciate the experience.

We're less than a month away from the U.S. Open. Keep it here on The FAN for all of the best golf coverage! Giddy up!
