Bill "Baby Tausch" Schmid

For a lifelong Milwaukeean, joining the FAN full-time host staff is really is a boyhood dream come true! I started at The Fan as an intern in 2014 working with Gary, Ramie and Sparky on the Big Show. Continuing to strive for more and more opportunities to talk with fans, I began working two years ago with the Milwaukee Admirals as a Game Night Host, aka the guy banging on the glass then playing games on the jumbotron with hockey fans.

I still remember the mornings before middle school when I was running late choking down a bowl of cereal listening to WSSP after Packers losses and envying the guys talking to the panicked fans like me. My first time talking Brewers with Tim Allen wasn't when I joined him in 2016 for the Fan Baseball Post Game Show, but when I called him and Sparky to complain about the use of Dave Bush! I understand the therapy sports radio can be for fans and am excited to join Gary, Sparky and LeRoy Butler and be one of those sounding boards. Hope you will join us on your way home every day from 2pm – 6pm!
